Any actual worthwhile mods out there?

I have downloaded many mods, but for the most part, I just download gameplay mods, because I have yet to find a mod worthwhile.
I had previously downloaded Silgrad Tower (baring in mind I am in Afghanistan so the internet is slow, that was a big deal/download) and it was total crap. Basically there are so many bugs and there isnt actually anything to do worth doing.
Then I tried Siege at Firemoth which basically was an island and as many possible skeletons that could fit in one area as possible but also terrible.
Then I did the one (forget the name) that takes place in Suran where you have to buy the special torches to go underground...also yuck.
The bottom line, is there any quest/mission mods out there that have the quality of an actual Morrowind mission that are worth downloading?

Should I take it you didn't bother checking the sticky thread about mods at the top of the forum page? Because it specifically mentions several mods as being quest-oriented.
I'll let this thread stand open, however, if anybody wants to add their personal favorites.

Maybe I wasnt clear on my post. Basically I know quite clearly what mods are for quests etc. But the bottom line is, it can take up do a day or two (Silgrad Tower comes to mind) only to find out the mod is total garbage. I could go into a page about how Silgrad is/was supposed to be so amazing and it totally sucked.
1) The city was ok looking but there wasnt much to do.
2) Inside the city, traveling by the little guar travel agency would sometimes put you within visual line of sight of the same place you just traveled from
3) Most everything outside of the city itself was just empty shells, or doors that opened into walls etc
4) Tons of bugs within the quest
5) The ship that takes you out to the island just simply disappeared at one point, and everyone just floated around in the water talking about how nice it was to be riding on a ship, and quite some swimming distance from the island
etc etc etc. Basically, the mod doesnt have to be huge or anything, but quality is much more important to me. I can easily do a mod myself where I make 70 room castle and put a skeleton in each room and it takes 10 minutes to complete the mission with a boring (or zero) plot line with plenty of bugs. I am hoping that someone here has a mod that they love so much because if they werent told it was a mod, they might think that it came as a side quest on the morrowind CD.

Yeah, but that sticky thread is for
recommended mods, per my initial comments, there:
I thought it might be helpful to keep a running tally of some of the best mods around, and what they do, for quick reference. Feel free to add to this, but please, no questions in this thread, and let's keep it on topic. Thanks.
So you wouldn't expect to find bad mods recommended. Unless, of course, the person doing the listing has abysmal taste.
That said, I would strongly recommend the following:
The White Wolf of Lokken
Tarmar
Haldenshore
Havish
The Trouble with Millie has a nice, sly sense of humor and some imaginative quests, but the rewards are way over the top.
I have many more, but my memory of them, individually, is rusty. I'll try to pick up the shards of my personal RAM during the day, and see if any of them look familiar.

I'd not heard that reaction to Silgrad, before. How long did you play it, and did you play it with any subsequent patches, or just the initial release?

I haven't played 'Tarmar' but 'The White Wolf of Lokken', 'Haldenshore' and 'Havish' are wonderful mods. Classics, even.
I'll recommend 'Solstheim Castle' which is IMHO as good as the ones mentioned above.
About 'Silgrad's Tower': It's always a good idea to try and find out what other players's experiences are with mods before installing them. 'Silgrad's Tower' may have received a fairly high rating at PlanetElderScrolls, but the comments from many a player prevented me from installing it.

The white wolf DOES look good! Do any of them have issues with one another? I hope not, if your other recommendations look like white wolf, I might be pleasantly suprised.
You are right, my point was that some people have bad taste I suppose.
Do you see a problem with any of the listed mods with these following mods?
- Snow Wolf Trading Post
- Balmora U
- Clean Better Caldera
- Improved Shipping (doubt it)
- New Suran
- Stronghold strider
I doubt any of these should conflict, none of them really use up too much space or create any new landmasses. The trading post is small, the university is small, and i havent checked out the "new suran" or "better caldera" but i dont see them being too big either.

It seems me and Fable have exactly the same taste in quest mods, as most of my recommnedations are exactly the same as his.
I second Coot's suggestion of Solstheim Castle, there is a slight conflict with White Wolf, but I believe there is a patch available. @ Coot play Tarmar if you prefer the role-playing aspect of the game over simple hack 'n' slash.
To these I'd add The Witchgirl Adventure, another mod by Emma.

Solstheim/Lokken: There is a patch and it's included in the Solstheim Castle mod.
I can recommend almost everything Emma has made.

Clean Better Caldera: I've not tried it, but people I respect say that the "improvements" are OOC for the area, and really slow things down.
Have you tried Balmora Expansion? It definitely does slow things down, but adds enough stores and other features to more than compensate, in my opinion.
If I get a chance later, I'll try posting a list of some of the more elaborate mods I'm currently running.

Haldenshore
The Lost City
Apostates to Oblivion
What kind of mod are you after? Fighting, Magic, stealth, or all 3?

Private Island - Mod that adds an nice island to the game, which may be reached by using the ring found from the locked box at the first house of the game. Includes lots of space to store stuff, quite much items and especially a trader who will buy anything and has more than enough mony to do so.
Temple Apartment - Small mod that adds one romm to the temple in Balmora. Nothing special there exept shrine, which amongs many other things, can cast Almsivi Restoration to you. Veeeery handy when have to get rid of different side-effects of different spells.
Castle of Balmora - Adds huge castle to the Balmora. Includes lots of space to store things, as well as teleport chamber, where you can get almost every city/town of the game. The negative side is that it moves on of the shops in Balmora, and apparently changes the destination where the door of that shop will transport you. But still very good mod, if nothing else than for teleporting.
Evan's Ratwork Vivec - Good small mod that allows you to move more easily between the cantons of Vivec. Very handy.

My personal favorites are Pegas Horse Ranch and Morrowind Comes Alive- also Abot Water Life and the Wolf Manor. Not really quest mods, but it adds to the game.
Cheers,
