I decided to try a few mods this time around, one of them Unfinished Business.
Just after Jaheira got cursed, Minsc lost Boo. I have to get Jaheira to the slums but Minsc wont/cant move because of Boo.
I quit and tried to uninstall UB, but there didn`t seem to be an option to do so.
I deleted the UB files from my game folder and reloaded an earlier game. It made no difference at all. Boo still goes missing at a certain point. The only way around the solution was to drop Minsc from my party, which was a real bummer.

To uninstall any mod you run the setup and choose uninstall when presented with that option.

Unless you've done something funky this should always work.

You should ask at the UB forums at pocketplane.net as the kidnapping of Boo should be a pretty standard affair with few (in any) bugs.

This is one of the most unlucky coincidences if I ever saw one. Your best bet would be to take your question to the UB forums. If that's not your thing, you could either load a previous save and don't visit the docks or the slums for a while (at least, not at the same time) or you could uninstall everything, install it again, and start a new game.
