Ranger or Paladin?

I have been debating whether to be a ranger or a paladin. I initially picked ranger because they are pretty good fighters and have stealth to boot. But then I saw that with certain kits you couldn't use certain armors. But then I saw paladin, and I liked the Undead Hunter. I have trouble with the undead, so it attracted me. But I still cant make up my mind, I like high stealth (I'm not a bad guy or nothing, but being invisible is cool and really helpful). What do you "old guys" think?

Well, I have a soft spot for the Inquisitor. They have nice immunities + the best magic dispel in the game and true sight thrown in for good measure.

I say go for a straight Ranger, forget the kits. Dump 3 prof. slots into dual wield (you automatically get 2 I think). Then get prof. in longswords, warhammers (for Crom Faer), and longbows.
My ranger is @ lvl 12 or 13. I have a -10 AC WITHOUT a shield (18 dex, red dragon scale, ring of gaxx, Helm of defense, some more stuff that I can't remember), ~120 hp, 7/2 for attacks. Just think about what happens when he gets hasted Image He chops, he slices, he dices Image

There already is a good paladin in the game (Keldorn), so I would just pick him up.

Well, if you also have Viconia in your party, you might think twice before having him along. Otherwise, after a while, he chops, he slices, he dices ... Image
