I hope others are playing this great module.

I have a problem though, not sure if it is a bug.

Its a bit far in the main story, when you meet Gorgomorz the first time in the Trollbark forest, Orc Lair lower lvl, where he teleports away, and you kill his minions.
Your journal updates that the "Master" has revealed himself and teleported away, and that I should search the area for any clues to find out what he hopes to achieve.
The problem is that I can't find any clues.

There are 2 things that might be interesting.
A wooden barrel in the same room where Gorgomorx was, that leaks oil. Destroying the barrel with fire, doesn't seem to do anything special.
And a Filthy Mat in the room before, which I can search through. But my search skill is not good enough so I fail.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure how many other people are playing this module I'm just coming up to that part of the game so I may be able to help in a few days :) (Right now I'm trying to figure out what I need to do in a side quest that is driving me up the wall lol)

I'm not playing this mod yet. Is it as good as it sounds?

I have given my initial thoughts on it in this thread. Feel free to add to that thread or ask people's opinions there :)

I am very impressed with it so far and have been playing it for quite a few hours. It has a few bugs in it but none that are game-stopping and the developers are currently working on fixing these.

It is a good mod, though it has some minor bugs in it.
But they seem to be working on fixing those.

I hope you soon get to where I am mr_sir :-)

The mat just contains 8 gold pieces so you haven't really missed anything there. As for the barrel of oil, it doesn't do anything from what I can gather, even if you smash the thing. I think its just there to highlight the fact that they are going to lay seige on Daggerford. The game seems to be full of stuff that have no real use lol - there was a thing full of fire somewhere else that I never found a use for (if you stick your weapon in it you get burnt, same if you put your hand in it and if you kick it over it just explodes lol). I have some weird stuff in my inventory too, such as a demon heart I've not found a use for. I must have done most of the side quests as I'm only 900xp off level 18 now and the game designers said to expect to finish around level 16 or 17 after all the side quests. I think they just put loads of stuff in it just as part of the atmosphere and for the fun of it :D

I think I am only lvl 12 with my mage, and I have done many of the quests and been everywhere I feel.
Though I don't seem to be able to enter that castle that is under siege in one of the coast areas.

But have you come past that point then in the trollbark forest?

My journal sais I have to find clues in the area to see what Gorgomorz hopes to achieve.

Have you found any clues?

In the area where you kill Gorgomorz there is a letter (i think its under a statue or something). Read then take the letter and your journal should tell you to head back to your stronghold. You will then be told what to do next.

Edit: For that castle, if you head down to the beach at the bottom of the cliffs at night there shouyld be a woman next to a grave near the pirate ship. She will give you a map. Explore the bottom of the cliffs (its quite a walk around them and a bit tricky due to the useless path finding) and you will find a cave. The map will enable you to enter that cave and end up in the castle.

Damn, I can't find that letter.
The only things I can do something with in that room is the wooden barrel and then a speared corpse.

I have also talked to that lady at the cliffs, though I don't remember that she gave me anything.
I don't have the map and I have tried to go through that cave before but got lost and had to return.
I might have sold the map as a mistake if it has cost more than 0g.
Then I would just have to check out the merchants to see if anyones got it.
But I can't remember that I ever got it in the first place :-(

If you face away from the entrance, the letter is on the right hand side of the room (a few metres in from the top corner). Its just lying on the floor. If you press [TAB] it should glow blue so you can spot it.

You have to ask her about what happened to the castle guy's mother and ask her how to get into the castle. She'll mention a sewer system thing (the cave) and give you a map so you can get through it - without the map its impossible not to just get lost and end up back outside the cave.

Yeah, its not there. :-(
I have checked the entire room with tap and just hovering my mouse over everything.

I think I already talked to her, but she has dissapeared now. She was at the Fishing Camp if I remember correctly.

But thx for the help :-) , I'll might try to play the normal campaign instead.

From what I can gather is they are planning on releasing version 1.1 very shortly which will fixes the bugs people have found so far so if you have encountered a bug then they may fix it. Also, check out the official NWN forums as there are lots of people reporting bugs and fixes there.

Yeah, I read that they would.

I'll try to stay alert for any news that will come about that.
