No on actually answers this question on the forums....
I too have sided with bhodi and want to find Haz, to kill him, so i can get into Aran Linvale's room.
Ive read 17 threads and the closest ive come is one from 2001 by:

Sojourner also posts in reply to some one who said people from bhodi's line should kill Gaylen Bayle:
"Yes, he sided with Bodhi, but he's talking about another key altogether. When you side with Bodhi, the 3rd level of the Shadow Thieves' Guild is different from the one you see when you side with Gaelen. It has the same basic layout, but now has traps and puzzles to solve. To access Aran Linvail's room, he has to get yet another key."
So again we must ask, if we have sided with Bhodi, where is Haz, the mage, so we can kill him and get our required key?

Did some searching on google and found this
Continue north into the Shadow Thief training area. After Dedral's ambush, enter the room to the northeast and push the red button at the end of the room. Watch out for traps!
Continue through the area until you find the wizard Haz. Kill him and take his key.
So apparently he is some where in this area.
