Help on Nar Shadaa, I am stuck (Spoiler)

Post by C_Rad »

After completing Goto's yacht, and going to the short talking sequence on the Ebon Hawk. I am taken to talk to, and or fight with the Jedi Master. After I get done talking/fighting with him, I have tryed both. I can't get out of that little hidden room of Mira's that is in the docks...I don't know if I am doing something wrong or what...Please Help...

Try looking around the room to find a door because if I recall, there should be a door where you can get out of that room. If that doesn't work, try to reload a previous save or patch the game to see if it solves the problem or not.

P.S. Welcome to the forums, C_Rad. :)

Thanks for the welcome. I wasn't clear enough in my intro though. I am aware of the door though..and when I try to open it, it is "magnetically sealed, no way of opening it...yada yada yada..". I have tryed reloading several times, including before nar shadaa going to a different planet, then completely redoing nar shadaa but the same thing is happening.

I even went to the lucasarts site, for support, and they sent me an email, saying it was a gameplay issue, and that they don't give out walkthroughs or hints, which pretty much means whoever sent me that has never played the game.

That's odd...the door shouldn't be magnetically sealed after (spoilers, please highlight)
Spoiler
you fight/persuaded Master Zez-Kai Ell
if I recall correctly. Try going to The Sith Lords Restoration Project to see if you can find a patch for this bug. I've never encountered this problem before so, I'm sorry I can't be of much help here. :(

I believe theres an easy fix to this. All you have to do is bring someone into your party(anyone one) and have them show up on the other side of the door(you have to be right next to the door and you will probably have to repeat this a few times). Then swich to them a run away from the wall and wait till the Exile shows up next to them. Then control the Exile.

Used that on Dantooine(my first planet) with the door that doesn't lead to the Enclave Sublevel. Got to meet the Jedi Masters before rescuing any of them.

I always open the door before I meet mira.

How do you do that? It's always magnetically sealed for me until I've finished fighting/talking to Master Whoever...

There are several other places where I've encountered bugs like this; doors that are unopenable until you've faces the end-of-level 'boss' and then will open. The most famous one is in the tomb on Korriban where you fight a vision of Revan. Often the door doesn't open when you've dealth with him. There are a couple other places where the same has happened to me. You'll need to go back to an earlier Save game; these bugs seem random, so it probably won't happen a second time.
