Magic Multiplier

First of all i noticed somebody had their multiplier up to 221 how the heck can you get it that high? i've had 25 as my high. Secondly when using the spell Divine Power i gain combat multiplier but not every time what's with that? game glitch i thought? so i just hope for it but it only happens a couple times a load i can get something round 30k xp in bout 30secs but it doesn't happen all the time. advice would be nice. the trainer should be nice. i beat it but now i just wanted to have fun with it.
