-Company of Heroes
-Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
-Gothic 3
-Neverwinter Nights 2 (I hope I can stomach this game given that I don't like Neverwinter Nights)
-The Witcher (2007)

These are the titles so far. I'll update if I find any other interesting titles. :)

Dragon Age if it ever comes out.

The Fall, which doesn't look like it'll ever be released in North America.

And that's about the extent of my computer's power.

Neverwinter Nights 2, when I can finally afford to buy it, because I still love to play the original NWN plus expansions.

Nothing really. Bioshock comes to mind, if it lives up to that E3 movie (which I highly doubt from what I've seen and read so far) but that would likely mean a system upgrade. I need more information on that game anyway.

My problem is the gaming industry and its marketing. I worked for a gaming magazine for a while, and during my time there I seem to have developed some kind of precognitive reviewing ability. That and a foul resentment on how things are done these days. After seeing a few screenshots and observing how the game is marketed I can usually tell if it is worth my time, or not. I knew Oblivion wasn't going to be all that jazz since they overhyped the radial AI from the beginning, and it didn't directly involve gameplay. I still got it for the graphics, I just need a game every now and then to know if my computer can still 'pull' it. I haven't played a game I really liked in years.

Here's a freebee. Hellgate London? Avoid it unless you really, really, really REALLY liked Serious Sam. They're not the first game to allow modifications to weapons and from what I've seen so far, it certainly won't magically turn it into an RPG.

Neverwinter Nights 2. :) I wish someone would get it for me for Christmas but that's not probably happening, so I'll get it when I have more money, i.e. after Christmas I think. :(

One of the games I'm looking forward too is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Almost forgot about that game as news about this game went silent for a very long time until I saw the latest news of this game. Hopefully, the efforts of GSC Gameworld will pay off. It's been 3 years in development.

Time to update my list as some of the games I'm no longer looking forward to some of the games I mentioned previously. My list:

-The Witcher (2007)
-Tomb Raider: Anniversary (2007)
-Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (2007)
-Assassin's Creed (2007)

I'll be curious to see if The Broken Hourglass appears in 2007, and if so, how well-written, imaginative, and creative the title is. At this point, I have no idea, but the two people running the company making TBH are excellent modders and longtime fans of BG2.

Everything else being commented upon appears to rely solely on PR. Which is about as reliable as political press conferences, and for about the same reasons.

And when has this been announced??
Seems like I have missed something lately...

But if the third C&C is really coming, then I suppose I could add it to the list I'm looking forward to...

This game was announced back in April of this year and it is confirmed to be in development by EALA. It was demoed at this year's E3 as well. You can find more information here. There are also videos of C&C 3 on that site (including the actual gameplay, though not much was shown there :( ) as well and it's worth taking a look at. :)
