Which you think is more efficient and why?

Depends on which kind of character you're rolling. Believe it or not, but this is a roleplaying game, so how you develop your character decides how it becomes powerful. There is no perfect skill build, just style of play.

Yeah well I know but I was wondering which is better for killing enemies. And I agree this is a RPG game, until perhaps Pyrenees. Half of it is a mindless hacknslash...

I agree that (more than) half of it is just hack-n-slash! But fairly interesting, all the same.
Even if the story-line is feeble. It could have been such a good game, but poor storylining and the reversion to hack-n-slash turned it from potentially excellent to just mediocre.
As for the question: Personally, I always prefer one-hand weapons above 2-hand. Two-hand weapons are good - but with a one-hand you can use a shield; this not only adds to your armour, but the shield has a good chance of it being enchanted - always a benefit!
However, by far the best weapon skill in Lionheart is Ranged, even if it does mean you miss out on shields.

Can you use two swords if you have high two-handed skill? I always wondered that wielding my one-handed sword...

It's been a long time since I played this game, so I don't remember; but maybe you could try dropping a weapon into the shield slot? I know some games allow this, but not at all sure Lionheart allows it.

I'm playing with one-handed weapons. Reason being they're lighter and they don't weigh so much in my inventory. I know, stupid, but since my characther doesn't have high strenght, what can I do?
Btw, if anyone is playing the game now or remembers, what are the best weapons you found? I now have a battle axe of revealing that gives me +52 to my find traps/secret doors skill and +10 to lockpicking. I keep it just in case.
And currently, I'm using a long sword of venom or one of flame that do 3-10+2 damage and each has some specific enchantments I didn't bother to memorise.

I was kinda curious myself why there wasn't a specific equipment section in the Lionheart information on Gamebanshee like there seems to be with most every other game. Is it that items that drop are just so random or something? Are there not specific things that drop from specific bosses or anything?

There are pre-set "GOOD" things
As a matter of fact Dai,and para, there are good weapons, that aren't just random drops, and playing through the game for a bit, i remember some of them.
Davinci crossbow
The Everlasting
Sacred Scimitar
Frostdrake bow
theres more, i can tell you that, forgot though, ill try to list some more soon, and the best random wpn i've found for melee is some 2h swd that gave +2 str and end, +33% to hit, +10 acid dmg, +5% fire and acid resist, pretty good.

The comparison
Nur Ab Sal wrote:Which you think is more efficient and why?
That depends on how you're set up. For example, lets say i have 300 skill points(the max) in both 1h's and 2h's, they're both just basic, no enhancements nothing, dmg wise, it depends on the speed, using the quick attack glitch(set a wpn as a hotkey, and pressing it right after you atk so
u re-equip it, eliminating a cooldown, thus, a much faster attack rate) i prefer 2h's, 1h's may be faster, but they do less dmg per swing, and if you're talking about the powerful ones, 2h's all the way, because most of the preset ones have much better bonuses than 1h's, but again, this is stricly for the dmg, not for defense, you'll have to get other gear to counteract the lower def for that one. Also, try being more specific about asking the comparison, because sometimes you have to have the right tool(or in this case, the right wpn) for the right job, so it all depends whether you're going for dmg, a balance for def/atk, or def straight up.

It depends on your character. I prefer strong fortitude magic, and 2-handed weapons. As you can see, with it you can get poison, disease, acid, fire, cold... all kinds of dmg resistances. And guess what? No carrying potions/scrolls around. Only blue bottles. That can be very good, especially if you are not very strong character. And let's don't talk about the amount of dmg. It's clear. I usually buy many different rings or neckl. They are not heavy, and can provide various kinds of resistances, and you can change them as your enemies change in different areas, to make the magical effect even better.
If you find the sword of heartseeking,
buy it. 5- 17 + 6 (sorry if this is not quite correct, but I'm too lazy to check now - it's there somewhere), + additional 4 dmg, 25% of strikes - 50 acid dmg

if melee is going to be ur main form of attack i suggest you go for 2h with vampirism(very HIGH vampirism) with either high resistances or evasion. But if your gonna be more of a caster(for example a fire mage) then i'd suggest you go for a 1 handed and a shield for the extra defence(and also because shields may add to your charisma stat(increase max mp) and also if it has the firedrake r frostwyrm (+20% fire/ice dmg respectively and ++ other stuff) it adds to your damage.
