Hey all, I am thinking of starting playing Dungeon Lords again as I havent played it in ages and I was wondering whats a good class combination? Thinking of maybe getting dual weapons if thats any good to have and then some magic aswell, Maybe celestial. so, I'm asking all you experts what a good class combination would be?

hi
I would suggest Warrior-Adept-Marauder-Paladin-Deathlord.
With your third tier class Deathlord you get also Medium Dual Wield and with Paladin u get some celestial magic and heavy weapons and heavy armors.Deathlord requires heavy weapons and heavy armor.

So, Is dual worth it? Good enough to fight on well?

Fighter/Adapt/Paladin/Samurai/Crusader is a thought for dual wielding build...I never got my Crusader class...but, the premise of it was to dual wield 2 weapons that caused "Inflict Wounds" and "Crushing Blow" at the same time at a very fast rate. The problem would occur that you need Light Weapons that are blunt for your off-hand to make the "Crushing Blow" work (in theory). So that would rule out many of the off-hand weapons as even some Light Weapon Staffs aren't permitted to be wielded in the off-hand.
Plus, I also don't know how effective stunning your opponent is when you normally slash them up with just dual wielding alone. And crushing blow may not work on tougher enemies. And I think there are only a few Heavy Weapons that you can wield in your main hand when dual wielding...a no-daichi type weapon (japanese longated, heavier katanas) is pretty much all you can wield for heavy weapons when dual wielding.
But, if you're strict like I am, when playing all those Wizardry games...the Samurai is to couple itself with Mage abilities and not Cleric abilities...so the Adapt/Paladin/Crusader thing kind of stuck in me bitterly from a roleplayer's perspective. But, whatever.
