I freed his son from prison, but now he is missing. His people still say that he wants to see me, but he is not in the camp?

Also, I killed the demon in the temple of souls, but Varrug is not in Skulldoon anymore. The clerk says that he is "out." I'm assuming its because I havent done something in the main quest, but then that gets back to, "where is Greymare?"

Do I have to have that codex before he will appear again? I killed the guy in the veil of rune, and got his key (i think). Anyway, i found his little treasure house (key worked) and there is one chest I cant get in yet (trap is too high level). Is the codex in there? I also found another little house (safehouse), but key did not work on that door?

Anyway, I'm hoping I havent gone wrong somewhere and glitched the game unwinable. Any suggestions? Thanks
