I played HotU about two years ago, lots of times as i wanted to try most classes in a combinations or another and now i want to play again because i never played druid in any combination. But i really can't pull myself to go through the first chapter, i really hated undermountain. Is there a way to start directly from the part where you relsease halasther ? because i would want deekin or even dirrectly the second chapter ?
also what level should you think i need to be at chapter 2 ? i can't remember that - also i was beginning with level 15 at the inn, not level 1 - you know you had that option.

Unless you had previous saves which had completely Chap.1, no way you can just slide by to the 2nd or 3rd chapter. Also no way for your character to begin at Halaster's release either so you'll have to go through Undermountain along with Deekin.

Even if you coudl go straight to CHap. 2, you wouldn't get the chance to use Deekin because you need his presence through Undermountain first. Also, you should be around 18-19 when you finish CHap.1.
