In the misson in the main quest where i have to cure the corprus disese Divath Fyr will not talk to me. I have already been to the corprusarium and killed some victims previously before i knew not to. how can i redeem myself so i can continue on my main quest b/c i am already arch mage of Mages guild, and archmagister of telvanni. I hate to be done and not go any farther in the main quest.Thanks

Have you tried spells like friend or clam human type spells?

I do believe that I had a similiar problem and that if you kill him, he'll drop the antidote.

Now, I'm not sure about this as it was a while ago, so I'd make a backup.

He is pretty tough, so you might want to prepare yourself in advance and so forth.

I haven't had time to try either but i will and see if it will work. Thanks for the info.

Dont you have to take him some kind of gift or a message from caius cosades, then he'll tell you to go get the magic boots, when i did that i was told by the corpusarium keeper not to harm any of the dieseased people in there!!

Much much earlier I killed an inmate and now he will not talk to me. I have searched the forum and all I could find that was claimed to have worked was to use a charm spell. I now have one, but I cannot use it beause it needs so much magicka (so looking at how to enchant something to get a high enough result). Killing him = breaking of main quest

There must be a way to reset his disposition or reset the flag re dead inmates, but I could find no post about how to use the console to solve this.

So any success with this - please let me know!

Seems like it's down to me. You're screwed. If you kill an inmate there's no completeing the main quest. Look in the walkthrough for the alternate route.

...but, having realised I could get someone to make me a new charm spell, I made one that lasts 5 secs (not the 30 secs I could not cast) and I could cast this one. Tried it - and it worked. He forgave me (he could not forget, but could forgive). So he asked for the boots, which I got and gave to him (making sure I did not touch anyone, including the warden) and he cured me. Back to Balmora and given new orders for the next bit of the quest. Unless there is something else I do not know yet, it looks like I am back in the game!

if he's attacking you, you'll need calm humanoid. if not, then you'll need charm. if he was attacking you but you calmed him, you still need charm. zenithar whispers is a great amulet for charming. you get it in the imperial cult. its a really early reward too, so it shouldnt take too long to get it. dont worry, you arent screwed. and he doesnt drop the potion if you kill him. the potion doesnt even exist. you "accept" the potion from him in the conversation, and then when the convo is over, he casts a spell on you and you're better.

treasures in the corpusarium

they keep going on about treasures in the corpusarium but all I find is dwemer goblets is that all there is?
