Hi everyone,

**slight spoiler*

I'm doing the special duty to give Carecalmo an ultimatum. I've found the shrine, killed the dremora lord and the bodyguard Meryaran, head to the shrine bit in water and take the heart, cash, etc, and that's when another NPC appears which I kill. All well and good. Where the heck is Carecalmo?? I've looked everywhere and it's only a tiny shrine as far as I can see.

I've tried this 4 times, going back into my game before even landing on this island. And each time he isn't there. Is this a bug do you think, or am I missing something?

I should include that I also levitated a bit, above the water area, but found nothing.

Hello.
Did you thuroghly Talk to Eno about the Quest? sometimes if you dont compleatly go through a Conversation it wont Activate the Quest.
Also are you at the corect Shrine? Ashamilikala or somthing. there are what, at least four shrines between Hila ode and Gnar mok and they are similar in spelling as to confuse the player.

Thanks for responding. I double checked and all that was fine so looked and looked and looked and LOOKED. Looks like my screen is dark and these semi-hidden passages are virtually completely hidden! crikey!

Yes those Shrines and Caverns can be quite Dark indeed.
FYI If you dont know already, theres a Ring and some other really Cool Items in a Stump behind the Meadhall on Soltshiem. the Ring will Light you Path.
The Spear "Illkurok" will bring Light to Dark places as well. its in some Ruins North of Azura's Shrine.

yes she or he is in there. i have just killed him/she. as you walk into the main room, you need to swim or levitate to a narrow pass which is the north exit of the main room i think. then take a left and she should be there.
