I had just found out that the Leviathan was the ship Saul Karath used to defeat the Mandalorians in the war. I had thought it was a Sith ship. I didn't know the Republic had made such an evil looking ship.:speech:

Those ships (Ravager class) were one of the Republic's finest and they just lost the whole fleet after Revan's defection. Dang! Sometimes it makes me wonder why the Republic never kept any reserve those ships. I mean, most countries in real life would never send the whole armada out to fight an enemy and leave themselves defenceless. Most of them will surely leave some of their reserve men and equipment behind to defend their country in case the major combat team was defeated or annihilated.
And as what MandalorianX had mentioned, the Sith battleships like the Leviathan are actually the Ravager class Republic warship that was heavily modified with alien technology and manufactured at the Star Forge. And sometimes I wonder, when you take the LS path and the Republic destroyed the Star Forge, how come the Sith still have some of those ships remaining in KOTOR 2?

it wasn`t a "ravager class", it was and is an interceptor. the ravager was an assualt class.
when your playing dark side, you see the production mass in total of the star forge, you see waves, and waves of ships rolling out from the star forge. you see that many ships being produced in such a short time, think of how many years it was during and after the revan campain(I cant spell).
Revan emassed a huge force, came back for the republic. Revan was "destroyed" an malak took over, ruled for a few years, and after that, the star forge was/is(depending on allignment) STILL producing.

Why does the Sith keep stealing the Republic's ships? They do it here with the Leviathan, Darth Nihilus in KOTOR 2 has a Republic ship, Darth Sion steals the Harbinger, and Darth Sidious has the old Republic's " Star Destroyers" and the clones.

Can't they make their own ships.

dont have money...just kiding.....duno its might be a sith plan to get closer to what they want...like sion us th e harbinger to get to telos to kill the exil, nihilus us it to get to telos so he can destry it to feed his hunger, sidious want to rule the galaxy, and revan used it to get closer to what ever he was looking for, and malak for the same reson as sidious i think.

yupp and he used it to destry miralukas home planet, to feed his hunger....
Leviathan was a Interdictor-class Star Cruiser and ravager was a command/battle ship.

they are just too lazy to build their own ships. So,they ambush republic ships and hire some fools to repair them. When thats done those mechanics disappear.....

I never thought Sith would be lazy. They sure don't act that way.

( destoying planets and that stuff)We all know what happens to the mechanics.:mischief: One false move and their fried to the wall. The janitor has to come pry them off the wall with a T3 droid.

Why make something for yourself when you can just take it from someone else?

why....at least you creat something that you can be proud of, to get the feeling that you have don something good(or bad in this case)...
just my opinion of creating ships

but it's easyer to take.

Yea, it's easier to take ,but wouldn't be better to have your own distinctive army to make everybody fear you when you come in. I guess Saul Karath was already known so much, people would know what he was flying anyway. What I'm saying is an army of the same type of ships looks alot better than a bunch of
stolen ships that nobody knows what they are and where they came from!

Yea, they don't build ships because they'd rather use their time, money, and soldiers destroying planets!
