I have the Diamond edition. Admittedly I was trying to modify my stats.

When I activated Debug Mode and enetred the proper command, it actually dropped my STR to 3.

I suspect that this option was removed in one patchor another.

Anyone verify this please?

It wasn't. I just tried it now. My game is updated to the latest patch, too... Did you try it the usual way, via ~ key, or by using the chatbar thingy above your quickbar?
