Well, considering how heavy daedric armour is, you might want to enchant some of it for constant strength. That's what I do with my clothing.

Enchantments for personality, health, nighteye, etc, are best put into rings and amulets, so that you can easily turn the effects on and off.

But everybody has their own preferences when it comes to enchanting.

Lol from what ive seen daedric armour is pretty foolish, i mean, its the ?best? armour in the game and it still has lamely low enchant capacity thats just idiotic, i reccomend you making the enchant skills higher with the ?Construction Set?

@ Icaris:
its still the best armor, why not enchant it when you have a ton of money?

anyways, id enchant it with CE strength, especially if you have daedric tower shield it works really good on it, and umm if not maybe an enchant heavy armor or your weapon specialization(can you do that? ive never tried...)

Watch the language, Icaris, per the rules you explicitly agreed to when joining GameBanshee:

#1 - Flaming, humiliating, ridiculing, or belittling other members will not be tolerated...

Also i recoment getting some of the better unique armour outthere

A low value of restore health can be useful, but it makes the game a lot easier... I would recommend

Night-eye
Water walking/breathing (probably breathing in morrowind)
Fortify strength

One of the things that annoyed me about Morrowind was how low the enchant value for greaves and pauldrons was. It makes it difficult to have a full set of enchanted armour, whithout making silly little enchantments

CE Strength is a good idea (feather is a complete waste of time), there are two ways to do this. One is to balance the effect, equal magnitude for min and max; the other way is to have it unbalanced 1 min and as much as you can max.

An example:

Exquisite ring: 120 enchantment points.

Option 1: 23 Strength points on min and max
Option 2: 1 minimum, 47 maximum Strength points.

With option 2 you equip the ring, then check to see how much bonus you got, don't like it, un-equip and re-equip, rinse and repeat until you get what you want. Note however, you'll never get the max, with the ring in the example, you'll probably get 45 at best, no matter how many times you re-equip.

Also, the second option can be a bit of a pain when your strength gets drained, as you have to un-equip it to restore, then go through the hassle of re/un/re equipping it again. Worth it though IMO.

Well, I know enchanting Daedric sounds like a good idea, but I just want to let you know that Daedric armor looks absolutely horrid when enchanted. If you still want to do it, though, you should enchant the set with Strength. Oh, and use the tower shield and not the regular shield; it holds more enchantment points.

There is also a mod that gets rid of the horrible shiny effect of enchanted items so if you use that then daedric armour still looks good when enchanted :)

one of my first ce enchantments is usually a belt that does light. it makes the game look so much better imo. it makes caves a lot easier to navigate too. another one, like was mentioned before, is a low value restore health. that takes a lot of enchantment space, so i usually use a ring. i don't use an amulet because i always use the amulet of admonition (one of the most overpowered enchantments in the game that i abuse constantly) and i didn't use the tower shield because i usually like to end up with a daedric dai-katana.

Hust wondering about enchantments is light better than night eye or not?

plus can you get 100% resistance to normal weapons?

as a vampire you get either 50 or 75% resistance to normal weapons, and there's the necromancer amulet belonging to trebonius that gives... i think 15%. there's probably more enchantments like that too. i think wraithguard might give 10%, but i haven't got a clue on that one. wraithguard seems to protect against everything.

I'm fairly new to Morrowind and was wondering how you enchant something with a ce enchantment. Also, I was wondering if you can enchant(Maybe a sheild or amulet) with a summoned weapon or with levitate that's a ce enchantment?

You need a Grand soul gem filled with either a Golden Saint or Ascended Sleeper's soul. Once you have it, take it, and a lot of gold, to an enchanter. All of the mages guilds have one, but if you stole Gabeldir's gems then don't go to her. In my experience, even if you get her to enchant an item with a gem you didn't steal, she still goes ape, and you get slung out of the mages guild after dispatching her and the other guild members.

Okay, thanks! :)
I'm not that far in the game, but that will help me out later.

Just get a grand soul gem with a really powerful soul (golden saint, acended sleeper...) and choose enchantment type as CE.

Summoned weapons are A rather good it starting but B bad as you progress you find betterones and you can't equip them. And levitate makes it impossible to rest.

I suggest Fortify strength or attack, night eye or a resistance.
