I see no topics or info here. i have only the pdf manuals from the diamond collection which say to check the quick start docs which of course do not come with it.

What do you mean by Hotkeys? The default ones assigned to the quickbar? They're F1-F12... at least in my version of the Diamond Edition you can actually see them written in faint grey on the quickbars themselves.

I think he means hot keys like r to rest, c for character sheet, i for inventory, o for options, q for quick save, j for the journal, space bar to pause the game, m (qwerty, "," for azerty) for the map, some arrow Home and End for the camera, H to remove every screen info, v to talk.
That's what I can remember (plus the Shift Fx and Ctrl Fx), I don't know where I found them.

Correct. Thanks for the partial list.
The reason I ask is becuase I do not see how to cast a spell without first putting the spell into a F-key. Nor does the manual say how.

I don't have the game installed right now, but I am pretty sure there was a way to access the entire list and alter it in the options menu. Wasn't there?

I don't think you can assign spells to the keys Ookaze mentioned. The only two ways I know of is, as you said, assigning spells to F-keys, and selecting them from the radial spell menu you can access when you right-click on your character.
...and colour me wrong, because Magrus is correct: on the second game-screen ( start game > Play > Options ), select 'Options' > Controls > Change Keysettings. There you can edit a lot of the keys assigned to gameplay, camera, etc. I didn't see an option to assign spells to a specific, non-F key, though.
