Well after several tries I finally managed to kill her...but apparently she was just slightly over a rooftop and I guess now her heart is stuck in the gutter...am I totally s.o.l.....or is there some way to fix this?...And not paying attention to where I saved the game...After I killed her off i saved it over the save before I killed her so no previous save can help me.

Awww how high is the ledge? You could try and backflip to it? or just jump near it and try and catch it?? (when you jump press shift?)

Otherwise it isnt a key so sory buddy at least you got the exp for killing her!

It's a moral loss. It won't deter the results of the main quests, but I know it will eat at you (at least a little)...as these kind of things usually eat at me...and I end up quitting the character I am playing...and just start a new one...just to forget...at least long enough to forget about what happened. I hope it won't mess with your psyche too much.

Besides the heart and sleep dagger that she drops, the only thing you miss out on that is semi-decent for the beginning of the game is the "bat bracelet" (has 3 summon bat charges, has +3 Parry) AND "+1Honor Point" and about some "minor amounts of gold and experience" from when you talk to the guy who gave you the "kill the vampiress quest".

I think you'll live. Slightly miserable, but...you'll live.

I figured it wasn't important to the mainline quest...but I just HATE!!!!..missing out on any XP I can squeeze out of a game...not to mention always being reminded of my failure to complete the quest every time I open my log book.. ...I let my character stand there and take a few arrows from a group of thieves shortly after..Sort of an abject lesson for him...DON'T MESS UP AGAIN!!!...:laugh:
