I've killed Minas Taw and talked to Sir Falen and received the sword from him, but any "fighters guild" I go to (basically that's just any shop keeper that sells weapons right?) does not have a new quest for me, nor do they acknowledge that I've completed the quest (even though I have the sword in my inventory) to get my next heraldy choice.

Is this normal? I'm playing as a Fighter/Thief (Currently am a Level 15 Marauder/Rogue), have completed the game up to the point where I have to deliver the vial of blood for Vartugg to the Vale of Ruin. Before I do that I think I will go finish my Tricksters quest to get that set of skills and improve my Nether Magic.

I've also "installed" the first two relics (the horn and the shirt) thinking that maybe that would change my quest notes. It didn't.

Anyone know if there is anything I need to do to get my next (last) fighters guild quest?

Well, this sort of resolved itself.

I went back in the same area to retreive the "Hanging of the Brae Witches" painting for the Guild of Mysteries quest, and decided to wander around over where Sir Falen was originally located. After heading north I ran into him again, and again got another (yes a second one) Barbtongue Runeblade heavy sword from him for my troubles.

So, I guess if anyone runs into the same problem with Sir Falen, just go finish up some other bits of the game and then come back and wander around the same area (I found him the 2nd time in the ravine North West of his original location stuck by some trees with 4 or 4 giant spiders looking at him...).
