solstheim help please

hi i havent been playing morrowind for that long, dont have a clue how to open the ice coffins in the ice caves on solstheim. what tools are needed? someone help

after doing some of the solstheim quests(starting with the fort) you will get the tool needed to cut the ice tombs(also called stalhrhim or something like that) it is some kind of pick axe...but ya, all you get from them is stalhrim and you cant use it until you have the quest so ya...
