I understand that race can have an effect on romances. I was wondering if there are any romances out there for gnomes as I have not come across one yet. Also would it help if my character was female?

I think with a gnome you only have one option. That would be Aerie.

Definitely not Viconia. Not sure about Jaheira. You might want to check the Pocket Plane Group, as they list some mods that add romances. Possibly post in their forum to see if any of these enable gnome romances, as well.

Thanks for the help, didn't pick Aerie up until late in game, so I may just have to wait a bit.
