Anomen Quest Bug

Im making a big effort to actually totally complete the game this time (i never have either through getting bored or fed up with the old bugs in the jaheria romance). This time ive encountered a new bug, i did the part of anomens quest where u guide him though his choice (picked leave it so he can become a knight) but now its got to the point where Terl (i think) turns up to tell him to take the test at the radient heart. Terl walks up to anomen but then does nothing, trying to talk to him only get a Terl has nothing to say result. Ive tried reloading, im fully patched and even went straight to the radient heart building - one of the lords also comes up as nothing to say also which would imply the whole quest arc is buggered, any help MUCH appreciated

Do you have any mods installed because i have never had any problems with Anomens quest and especially with two different npc's having nothing to say.

Have you tried one of the community Fixpacks? Any problems you might have with Jahiera or Anomen or other quests may be resolved by this.

Im trying to avoid mods at least for now, thanks for the link was unaware of that site (im new around here) but i looked through the archive of fixes and there didnt appear to be anything to help with my situation (unless i was looking in the wrong place). Has nobody every had this problem before or a similar situation or is the universe just out to get me
