YES, you read right, it is another Jaheira romance question

Okay, I have done everything. I did the poisoned guy quest, I bought the stupid amulet from the fat guy in the Docks, and yes, I cured Jaheira of her curse. I got some dialogues from her, the most recent being that she mentions that I will find out that often Harpers will do things in a barbaric way and I will soon know when I meet the Harpers. It is Game day 66 and I have come back from the Underdark and ready to kill Bodhi. If I finish SoA before she slips away during the night, would the romance hang if I move on to ToB? Where should I rest to let Jaheira get away?

Outside activates the bandit plot. Not in an inn. :)

I had the same problem. Some of the conversations will not happen until events, or actual time lapses. I had to pause the game, and come back in a couple of hours in order to trigger a conversation. I believe you do want to sleep outdoors (gets the druid thing going), to trigger Jahiera leaving. I know you can check by looking at the romance global (or something). As you are aware, there are alot of posts on this topic. If you did a search on Jaheira I am sure you'll get the precise answers you need. Next time through I'm going go after Viconia or Ariel, I think it is alot easier.

Relax. I just played through ToB for the first time with Jaheira as my romance and had problems with it too in the SoA portion, but when I reached the ToB chapters, her romance was automatically set to 2 and it proceeded from there.

This only happen if her LoveTalk is higher than 50; I've checked the script file, so I'm sure.

You can always set the JaheiraRomanceActive thing to 2 if you want the romance to continue in ToB.

I am aware of the fact that romance dialogues are triggered by real time, not game time. Do I have to sleep within Athlataka to make Jaheira leave or can I sleep anywhere else as long as it is not an inn?

It's pretty difficult to sleep in the streets of Athkathla, so I suggest sleeping somewhere outside of it :)

Yes, finally got a dialogue after two hours of pausing the game. Anyways, thanks for the support guys. I was wondering how do you submit something to the website. I've noticed that on the NPC section of Gamebanshee under Jaheira and Aerie, there is not interaction between those two. But if your PC is romancing Jaheira, and you have Aerie in your party, they will constantly fire at each other. I was just wondering how to submit to Buck at that piece of information.

Hey all.

I decided to resurrect this thread instead of begin a new one...

I'm quite far through chapter 2 (want as much EXP as possible before moving to Spellhold) and I just went through my quest log to check for quests that still need doing..
Lo and behold, the initial Harper quest, where you have to rescue Montarton is STILL THERE, after I did the quest way back.
The Romance is still running, I got her the pendant, removed her curse, but that quest is still there, and i can't "re-do" it, nor can I move onward with that quest chain.
Help? Anyone? :(
