I am attempting to become a knight, but I cannot advance my medium armor skill past level 3. Knight requires level 5. I have met all other stat and skill pre-req's. Even when I save more adv. points than I need to progress to level 4, it is not shown as an option, and clicking does not work. Is there a level requirement to advance to med. armor 5? If so, does anyone know what that requirement is? My current character level is 8, fighter/adept class.

You can only raise Medium Armor to the same level as you have in Light Armor. This same type of system also applies to weapons and shields.
