I have just completed SoA ONCE MORE which makes it 2 times. And i have started new game about 5 times more than that. I've completed with Undead Hunter and now with Ranger. The romance with Jaheira went very well the first time i completed it (undead h) i managed to do everything (quests and stuff) with her with no probs. Now i have completed it with Ranger and it got stuck. She asked me twice how i enjoyed last battle and that was it. After that nothing more. I must say that to complete thsi time it took me 150 game days. I have rested quite often inside the big Athkatla and heard that it gets stuck (romance). I have tried resting and walking in forest of Tethyr and other thing but it didnt work. Also tried pausing the game and chilling out 45 minutes but that didnt help. Regardles i have completed the game and there is nothing more to it. But if ill get ToB will it continue or still be stuck? One last thing: i have usewd some user-made (loser made) patch for fixing Bodhi lair things but could it be that didnt work cos of custom patch?

I had the same problem.If you get the "how did that last..." dialogue more then once I'm afraid the romance is dead

Anyway to avoid this foolish wistake bioware done???

just remove jaheira.bcs from the override folder, but don't delete it. The romance will proceed normally and after Jaheira propositions you & before Terminsel appears, just move jaheira.bcs back to the override folder. At least this worked for me.

but is there any more "natural way"? like that removing custom patch and not resting every hour?

Did you try that "Jaheira Walkthrough" that was posted recently? From what I read, pausing your game was definitely a good thing.

You are running into a ToB bug. I have found your choices are:

To play with SoA only until the romance concludes.

To remove the Jaheira.bcs file from the override folder.


I am *told* (intend to test this ASAP), that the problem lies in the fact that Jaheira's LOVETALK value does not increment from 52 to 53 (after that last conversation) like it is supposed to, so Dermin's second appearence is never triggered. If so, then in *principle* (again I have not tried this yet), all you have to do is increment it using the CLUA console manually.

I just got done testing it, and I *think* I have the most bloodless way of all of fixing the Jaheira romance in ToB. The *instant* Jaheira finishes her 'Did you enjoy the last battle' speach, reset her lovetalk value to 53 (using the CLUA console). The romance will proceed normally from there.

About how much time does it require to fix prob when game's "paused"?
Also i havnt checked Jaheira.bsc yet but what the hell is this 52 53 love talk? how do i change it?
i dont have time to check it meself yet so plz answer

Using the CLAU console, you can change it in seconds. Just pause after Jaheira is done talking and reset the lovetalk value to 53. As I recall (someone correct me please if I am mistaken) the command is:

CLUAConsole:Setglobal("Lovetalk","LOCALS",53)

and make sure the pointer is on Jaheira.

Minor correction:

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("LoveTalk","locals",53)

The CLUA commands are case-sensitive except for what's in the double quotes.
