Hey guys!
I have just completed the Hell at Hollowbrook Hotel quest. I reported back to Lacroix, who sent me to The Last Round to talk to the Anarchs. On my way there I hear the voice of Beckett, who yells "...Wait!". My character stops in the middle of the road and cannot move at all, but Beckett doesn't show up! My character just stands there and nothing happens. Should I install another patch? I already have patch 1.2 installed.
Thanks!

I believe this bug is fixed in the unofficial patches, however any time you install a patch you have to start a new game.

I suggest reloading a previous saved game first. Play through to where you are now and see if it happens again.

Old bug, and if you look around, you'll find a lot of previous discussion about it.

I used to be plagued with it all the time, so in that part, going through that area of town, I would always crouch and sneak - just a few inches at a time. When he yells "Wait!", I would usually still be mobile. You don't have to move much too far to run into that bug.

I say that so that I can say this: I just recently upgraded my video card (primarily to get dual video), but I got this really high-end beast of a card. I don't have this problem anymore. So I guess it has to do more with frame refresh rates than anything else. With smaller video cards, it somehow becomes possible to be caught 'between frames', as it were.
