This is basically a comparison between the two games. Feel free to write what you feel about the two games.
I finally changed my opion about ToB and BG2 from what it used to be.
Personally I think BG1 was the best game out of them, I mean look at it. Your character was not Godly powerfull, you had to use strategy to beat the game, it was awesome. To get a damn magic item you had to fight for your life. I mean to get that +2 LongSword you had to fight that one guy and he was beating your half your party down. Then Tales of the Sword Coast came out. That was cool Durlag's Tower was awesome I think. Also that Werewolf Island was nice.
Then BG2 came out. Overall its a nice game, you get pretty strong but you still had some very good challeges in the game. The magic weapons and items were distributed a bit faster but there was not that many very powerfull ones.
Then ToB came out, good god WTF happened there, the game designers went haywire on this one. I thought having couple of powerfull weapons would be cool so I argued about that, but then it just got out of hands. You found UnGodly powerfull weapons right and left for doing hmmmmmm oh yea looking at the table or lockpicking a damn chest. The game proposed no challenge what so ever. It was extremly short and boring. The story went retarded and why would only your main character be a damn god look at the rest of the party they are about as strong as he/she.
I think BG1 & Tales of the Sword Coast take the prize. But that is just my opion, does anyone think this otherwise or same?
