if i have done the main quest and am immune to disease, am i still able to catch poryphlic hemoriphilia?

Medila Indaren Weakness to Common Disease Caldera, Mages Guild
then go to a spellmaker and make one that is weakness to common disease 100% ON SELF!!! for about 30 seconds, 10 seconds is the lowest i would go though, anyways then go and get hit by a vamp, itll tell you that you were diseased as usual
