Ive got a level 18 Paladin and no clue as to what the best Equipment for him would be?

carsomyr +5 (two handed sword)
plate of balduran (cost 46000 only with bonus merchants)
boots of speed
ring of gaax
amulet of power (if you are not a undead hunter)

cant remember more but thats good

What do you mean by "serious"? Do you mean that when you play this time you are not going to walk around spooky dungeons after drinking sixteen shots of Dwarven Evermead or do you mean you've just bought and installed the game?

All the other attepmts were more to see what does this do when I attack him. or how much does it take for me to get drunk. or if i can get Jaheira really drunk it will speed the romance up.

You could just have Keldorn use Carsomyr and your PC paladin use the other 'holy' weapons in sword and shield style. There's a good Bastard Sword in TOB that can only be attained by Lawful Good characters, plus the Daystar is another paladinesque type weapon. Also, Red Dragon scale armor, the Dragon Scale shield, and that Dragonslayer longsword all look cool on a paladin.

As for other things, Helm of Glory is good for a paladin, as well as Pride of the Legion +2 or Armor of the Hart +3. In TOB you have the Paladin's Bracers as well. That's all of the paladin items I can think of for now, did I miss any?

Ok well as for weapons, you probably want the Improved Carsomyr+6.
and Gesens Bow or Tansherons Bow

Armor- I'd still go with Red Dragon Scale armor
Rings- Gaxx Ring and Earth Element ring
Amulet- not sure
Boots- Probably boots of speed or Grounding
Belts- inertial barrier, or some strength belt(Hill or Stone Giant)
Don't bother with a shield

If you haven't chosen any proficiencie slots then I would say Two points in two handed weapon, two points in two-handed sword and two points in shortbow. You could also put some points in either hammer, flail or mace.
