Yay i finaly got an Xbox 360 and i think we all know what game i got with....yes thats right...Oblivion. It's everything I dreamed it would b lol. So im here to start the horde of questions. Though i only got for now an it's about travel. Is their any fast travel options (like in morrowind there was boats and silt striders) because it takes ages to get from town to town and the horse does not really make any more progress then walking.

Um, didn't you read the manual? Or a review or two of the program? I mean, clicking between towns on the over-map is one of the game's most celebrated (and controversial) features.

yes. you simply go over the city and click.
but keep in mind it does take a lot out of the game.
cross country trips can be quite fun and loaded with items and equipment.

I would add that horses might seem slow while riding but that's mostly a matter of perception - the apparent speed of running in a more or less confined space like a dungeon or a city street seems comparable to the speed of riding in the wide open spaces. But try taking the same route (say, Imperial City to Bruma) once on foot and then once on horseback and you'll quickly gain an appreciation of the horse's speed.

Also go buy a black horse cause different horses grun faster.
the one you are given near the begining of the main quest is slow. the slowest in the game
the horses can be alot faster then on foot if you get the right breed. and to fast travel its really easy go to you world map and click on any location marker that you have already been to or on any town location marker i.e. skingrad west gate it does help for getting around but also recomend exploring every so often you would be amazed at what you will find.
Good luck and have fun I am sure this game will bring you hours of enjoyment.
