After just finishing a BG1 game and getting a little bored, I decided to try that extra challenge as well. However, I don't want to miss out on some nice mods I had used in the past, and others I want to try. Since my memory of some isn't so good any more, and there are others I haven't tried, maybe you can give me some input on what to watch out for?

My party:
Beastmaster from BG1, will dual to cleric at 13 if I can handle
Jaheira
Haer'Dalis
Yoshi/Imoen
(Sarevok in ToB, should I get that far)
and include other NPCs while doing their quests (eg Valygar for sphere etc.)

My installed mods (non-interface/bugfixing) are:
Unfinished Business, all parts except Bodhi's hunt in spellhold
From Tactics:
- Ritual (is that doable?)
- improved Torgal/D'Arnise
- improved Guarded Compound (doable?)
- Red Badge
- improved Mae'Var
- improved Crypt King
- random wilderness encounters
- improved undead
- intelligent dragons (doable?)
- intelligent mages/liches (doable?)
- improved CC (does it affect the slavers too? I'm done with the CC part by now)
- improved oasis
- improved north forest

So what do you think, can it be done? Or is there anything you recommend to uninstall? I had installed the random city encounters at first, but uninstalled them after the first time, they'd be too hard.
I plan on getting Imoen relatively early, but of course that will make the run through the underdark difficult...so I'm not sure on that either. What would you suggest as minimum experience to go to spellhold for a 4-member party?

I'm unsure how well you know the ins and outs of BG: SoA, but except for the Slightly Smarter Mages/Liches component, it's certianly doable. I woudn't recommend installing the aforementioned part, chances are you won't live very long. I tried a couple of no deaths no reloads games a while ago, and started one right now, but that component is practically the only thing of tactics which I haven't installed.

In my opinion, it doesn't only make certain encounters almost undoable, but it also takes away a lot of the game its feel (for example, I hate to see Ribald casting tons of defensive spells when simply entering his store).
