Hey 2 things I can't seem to get to work or find is the quest for Simmy to find Adamantine powder/dust and the Miner.

I have Adamantine ingots (I think) but can't seem to find the powder/dust in the mountians she and Khelgar refer too.

Second I have freed the miner, his crew and found several Ore vains but when ever I try to talk to the miner at OOW he acts like he is waiting for me to ask him to go back to the mine (or something) but I can't seem to ask him the necessary thing.

I actually remembered a third thing the woman with Kashvar is back at OOW and seems to act like she would join the party but I don't get a proper request or line to ask in conversatition.

Btw I am in chapter 1 if that matters.

Thanks. :)

Don't know if this helps, but later in the game there are some areas you can't access yet, including a certain mountain range near the dwarven stronghold.

As for the miners, I don't believe it's an actual "quest" to show them new sourcers for mining. Maybe it was once intended to be one, but they dropped it.

So long,
Sol

Sure this helps thanks. :)

Well I was refering to the Miner saying to let him know if you clear the Bonemasher place out , he would make a deal with you and mining for you or something to that effect.
He stands next to the woman Lieutent whom was with Kashvar in OOW.
Like you said maybe it was/is not completed. :)

Hopefully someone has figured it out and the woman too.

I don't remember a quest from Simmy, so I can't help you there, but you'll figure out what to do with the miners later in Act II.

I never finished simmy's quest. But SW is right, you'll know what to do with the miner soon.

On this note, I can't seem to get Casavir to join my party. I get to the "Never Mind, Let's Go" option, but then nothing happens. I can't access the world map from that screen either.

Any suggestions?

Like the miners, you'll eventually figure out how you can use her.

The game has three acts, and it took me about 60 hours to complete.

IIRC, when you meet Casavir, he automatically joins your party, and you go into party selection mode. If that's not what's happening for you then this is probably another one of those broken scripts that people keep finding.

Since I can't access the world map at this point, is my only option to go to a prior save or restart?

I'd say, zip/rar/7z all the files in your save folder ( my documents/neverwinter nights2) and send them to someone with the game. Im curious to see if I'd be able to access the world map, with your save. If I could, I'd save the game after I left, and then send the save back to you. If you want to try this, send me a PM.

This would also depend on how far back the save is too though. If you weren't even in OOW, that'd suck.

Thanks swcarter and m0rb1d.

Ragin Cajun I say just start from an older save, it would be much shorter than starting over.

Since I started over so many times I have started making a Hard Save I never save over, at the start of entering Neverwiter and now just before ending chapter 1, once you start in to Blacklake its hard to stop the progress of the game and get back to your Haven, so make one before going into Blacklade and try to finish every side quest possible before entering Blacklake.

I had a save just leaving the orc caves so went back to that. The options in meeting the paladin the second time were completely different so yes, it appears that the link was broken the first time around.
