Stuck in Verbobonc

hi there,
unless there is something really simple i have missed i seem to be stuck in verbobonc.
I can't see an exit and i can't access world map.
I have tried:
game.fade_and_teleport(0,0,5007,487,488)
but that didn't work either.....
Any ideas?

If you have an arcane caster, or someone with use magic device, you could try a scroll of teleport.

For what it's worth, the code you have written here for teleporting back to Hommlet with the console is not quite consistent with my info. (Note, I've never actually used this code.) The list of commands I have requires three 0's inside the parentheses. That is,
game.fade_and_teleport(0,0,0,5007,487,488)
Not,
game.fade_and_teleport(0,0,5007,487,488)

how do I even GET TO Verbobonc?
how do I even GET TO Verbobonc? I guess I am asking for a spoiler because I have not known how to do this so far?
NOTE: I am playing TOEE with the Official Patch 2 and CO8 Mod 5.0
