Interesting side occurrence with Neeber

This weird occurrence just happened with Neeber today. I was getting so sick of his constant yapping, and was getting ready to whack him (I already endured a lot of his inane comments... and I mean A LOT). Just as I put the sword icon on him, he said something like "Wow, you've been so nice to me, I'll give you some stones that people threw at me." The stones turned out to be 5 bullets +2. My party members also each got 1000 quest experience points. I know that's nothing, but still... maybe there is some virtue to holding in your anger and not killing the little annoying piece of crap. Anyways, i was just wondering if anybody else also had that happen to them... or is it standard knowledge?

Thanx

It's sort of standard knowledge now, but it's definitely fun to find things that you hadn't known about previously. You had talked to him 15 times, and your patience merited a reward.

I believe Neeber is one of the ones around the table at the end of the game...think about it somehow he has ended up in the same area as you again..He was in BG1 and he is in BG2...coincidence or a plot..you decide.

Hmm... the fellow in Nashkel is Noober, not Neeber. I just figured they must be related. Long-lost cousins, or something. Image

"Ever met my cousin Noober in Nashkel? He's kinda annoying. People throw rocks at him. I'm glad I'm not like him. You don't think I'm like him, do you? You wouldn't throw rocks at me, would you? How about now? How about now...?" Image

It's a pity you can't port Noober into BG2 and get him together with Neeber. Just leave the two b*stards together to bore each other to death. Image

Alright what if Noober and Neeber are the same person and Noober followed you to Amn and changed his name to Neeber to be able to keep a watch on you.

Alright sink my boat.. Image

Both are an alias for a demi-draco-demon-lichlord. Noober/Neeber is, in fact, hideously powerful. He just enjoys being an irritating prat and pestering dumb adventurers.

I don't get you guys. Why don't you just click on Neeber fiftheen times and get the experience. Same with Noober in BG1. Takes three seconds for 1000 xp for each of the party members.

Or is it so that you didn't know that you can initiate dialogue with Neeber by clicking at him in order to "speed him up"?
