I read on here that you can Dual-class your Kensai to a mage but i cant get mine too.
is it because of his stats (listed below).
lvl 10 Human Kensai
14 str (using buckler of giant str)
18 dex
18 con
18 wis
18 int
3 chr

A general comment on dual-classing:
Read the dual-class screens that pop up when dual-classing. Try Yoshimo (he can dual-class). The screens state clearly that:
1. You must have 15 at least in the leading ability of your old class.
2. You must have 17 at least in the leading ability of your new class.
Leading abilities:
warriors: STR
thieves: DEX
rangers: CON
mages: INT
clerics: WIS
Your kensai/MAGE must have STR 15, INT 17

Just use shadowkeeper to bump your strength up a notch. I am playing a K/M this time through and its a damn fine combo.
BTW, I used shadowkeeper to set all of my stats. I figured I could sit there all night until i got the roll I wanted, or I could spend that time actually playing the game.
