Quick question about Weapon Finesse:

"With a light weapon, rapier, whip or spiked chain made for a creature of your size category, you may use your dexterity modifier instead of your strength modifier on attack rolls. If you carry a shield, its armor check penalty applies to your attack rolls."

I recently got the feat beacuse my character wields Kukri's and has a very high DEX. My question is, is there any point in putting more +STR (found some nice +3 STR gloves) on my char if he is using DEX as his modifier? So all the points I have in STR is useless in combat?

If your str is higher than your dex then it should automatically start using that instead of dex again so this is one case where you could still get a bonus from increasing your str. Also, str will help you carry more weight in your inventory.

strength also adds to the damage you do, where weapon finesse only increases your to hit chance
