Knights of the nine and frostcrag spire(spoilers)

I have searched the forums and haven't found anything with sufficient information on the quests for the knights of the nine. How to find the altars other than just romping around. Also the frostcrag spire download is there anything i can do other than buy the stuff for it. I already know about the altars and the atronachs just is there anything else to do with them.

What all is included in the knights of the nine download.

Search for "wayshrines". I'm pretty sure there was a thread a while back that described the locations of most if not all of them.
