Hi, everybody

I know that there's been a lot of posts on the harper quest lately, but I read through them all, and couldn't find anything on my particular situation. What's going on is that after I kill Dermin, supposedly Terminsel/Elminster should come and give me the Harper pin, right? but he doesn't appear, no matter how many time I rest... or is it because the Terminsel trigger is given by real time, not game time? This is troubling me very much, please reply. Thanx very much!!

He only comes after you've completed the romance with Jaheira (bedded her).

What??? So if I'm not doing the romance, I don't get the pin? and plus I can't pickpocket Terminsel again?

no romance, no pin. unless you cheat

is that really true? jahiera got her pin in my game and we weren't having a romance at all. hmm... i did have to wait a long time for it though. terminsel showed up just after i left the elven outpost in chapter 6, and i did the harper quests in chapter 2.

I'm not sure about this, but as I understand it, doesn't Elminster only appear in one of the forest areas after the underdark? (by forest areas i mean those ones that aren't the city areas: sonething or other pass and one other.) I think jaheira gets her pin back even if you don't romance her. i mean, she still gets kicked out of the harpers right?
