quiver selection

Back agan :)

I completed Chapter 3 and began Chapter 4. Went exploring into Ulcaster ruins and dungeon and got a bunch of potions. Now I am begining to encounter more monsters that need a boost getting killed from enhanced missle weapons, either arrows or bullets.

I can selectively place one or two special missles in the ready position, but this gets time consuming and troublesome to remember to reload after each battle. Besides for the times when a routine hobgoblin is encountered, it is a waste to waste an arrow or bullet + 1 (or better).

Is there a command or method I haven't discovered which permits you to change the selected ready magazine for arrows or bullets during a battle? (without the unpausing effect going to the inventory screen causes?)

My current line up:
fighter/thief: (shadow armor, bracers of marksmanship, composite long bow and short sword+2) usually provides archery support, but also melee when needed
Khalid: (Ankeg armor, long sword+2, medium shield+1) main tank
Branwen: (whois full plate (from Bandit camp), hammer+2 (Bassilius') melee, spells
Imoen 5/4 thief/mage missle and spells
Xan: missles and spells
Kivan: (longsword+1, special long bow (can't remember name), also from bandit camp) - archery support, melee vs lower lvl monsters

If you move your save game to the mpsave/ folder and then play in multi-player mode, your game will pause when in the inventory.

Assuming you have regular arrows and magical loaded in the quivers, the easiest way to change is to click the weapon icon at the bottom of the screen. This will display the 3 quivers that are available and allow you to select the quiver that you want.

Thanks for the tip, makes changing the firing sequence much easier. The display will show those quivers that actually contain missles. If one is empty, it does not display. I did find that it actually takes a right click to make the display appear.
