Can a Kensai/Mage wear the amulet of power? I'm wondering cause a fighter can't.

Good question. I don't think it is loot form thief bodies because it is given as a quest item for helping the thieves.

Yes, you get the Amulet when you kill Aran...along with the Ring of Prot +2, Katana +2, Elven Chain +1, Ring of Djinni Summoning...

Hmm, for that, it may just be worth siding with the vamps. What repercussions are there later in the game for siding with the vamps (besides destroying them and leaving a power vaccuum in Athkatla?
)?

None really. Any shadow thieves left in the city will attack you on sight, and you won't have those assassins help you against Bohdi, but that's it. If you do side with her, you'll want to loot the Mace of Disruption before going to Spellhold.
Another benefit is that you won't get attacked by vamps when your ship docks in Spellhold.

The best thing about siding with the vamps is that you can go kill that annoying thief that says "Coo!" all the time.

Xandax, no offence meant, but your name sounds like some sort of drug company product.
"New, Xandax from SmithKlineBeecham. Do you have bowel irregularities? Yes?! Then take Xandax!"
Please feel free to make fun of my name

Is that a coincidence the some guy named "gruntboy" likes to talk about bowel irregularities..... and let me guess, he didn't pick his nick-name, his friends did.

'Fraid not. Aran's pockets are filled with garbage. You'll get some stakes, some bolts, and a cruddy crossbow. Possibly some tacky jewelry. You'd think the leader of the Shadow Thieves would carry better stuff...then again, you'd also expect him to be a little more observant about noticing someone rifling through his pants.

Why on earth should I make fun of your name?? I see no reason for it.
Naah, I know my name might not be as intelligent as Gruntboy
My name is actually a deviate of "Xerxes" wich I use for my fighter-characters, but since I changed character and played a mage(most often), I didn't want to play with the same name so I used "Xandax" for my mage-like characters.
Hope it dosen't offend you (to much <g> )

Just messing with you. Zorac is a bit "medicinal" aswell
.
Xerxes is a good name. But we don't want to encourage the Greeks too much.

Whoops, you're right. I was thinking of Xenophon (now how many names with X can we fit in here?
). Freudian keyboard slip.
Still, the Greeks did fight the Persians. And we never did that in history, my school was a pile of sh*te. I lernt it all meself.
