A couple of questions(Spoiler)

First of all let me just say thanks to all the people in this forum as they have
helped me out of a few jams in this game.
And now for my First question
I have read this forum a lot and there is one quest that i still have'nt got
even after finishing the game twice. I am talking about this rev Ivarr sword quest or something like that.If someone could tell me where and how this quest is triggered it would be greatly appreciated.
As for my second question
This is a possible bug. Before the fight with Lorne in the cut scene with Shandra and the Gnome i found that if you have too much influence with Grobnar he recites a song for you but after that nothing happens. I tried reloading to an earlier save and still nothing. So i had to reduce my influence over him with the cheat which made everything alright. But i was just wondering if anyone else has had that problem.
Thank you.

Welcome to the board.
I didn't have a bug or lower my influence with Grobnar.
He sang a song, if I recall maybe gave me a bless or something.
This is the first time I have heard of a bug with this, which patch are you using?
Secondly what was your influence with Shandra and Grobnar?

Thank you for telling me about the Ivarr quest, but when i did that he just told me a story about him and his brother and no mention about a quest.can someone explain why this is happening or maybe i'm just talking to him at the wrong time
?
Also to answer Acleacius's question i'm running the original copy of the game.As for influence i'm not sure how you measure it
.But in the cutscene i got one influence success with Grobnar then he sang his little song and the cutscene ended. There was no cutscene of me and lorne entering the arena.

Since 'influence' has been mentioned:
I find it incredibly annoying that there seems to be no way of accessing the influence you have with team members. Sure, you get it come up that you 'gained/lost' influence with a member, but apart from noting each occasion on a bit of paper, there is no running record of your status with members.
Is there ANY way of accessing the info that I have missed?

The quest from Ivarr is called "Path of the Holy" for a reason!
You only get it if you are a Cleric or a Paladin...

Verily, there is!
##rs kr_influence
It opens an in-game influence editor that lets you see how much influence you have with anyone, and even edit it.

If you have gotten the Path of the Holy quest but cannot finish it, try the workaround i posted here http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/neverwinter-nights-2-80/rev-ivarr-quest-spoiler-82874.html

Thank you for clearing that up for me.It was driving me nuts listening to that priest go on and on about him and his brother and not offering me that quest.
P.S:- I was a warlock and was not aware of the cleric/paladin condition.

Thanks!
I'll try that.

Journal says I finished 'Path of the Holy'.....Bugged Quest?
This has happened twice now. I open my journal only to find that it says I have finished the "Path of the Holy" and that I should go speak with Ivarr. I have just got done talking with Keros of Clan Ironfist for the Alliances quest and was headed up to Mount Galardrym and I checked my journal only to find I had supposedly finished it. This has happened twice now and after the first time I had to reload several saves back to find a good save.
I am wondering if there isn't some order in which the quests are done that is triggering the finished quest in your journal. I had gotten Ivarr's Vision well before I had gone to speak to Keros on the Alliance quest. I had already finished the Lizardmen Allies, Grobnar's Wendersnaven, Elanee's Quest and met with Sydney Natale.
I may have to reload again though not before trying to get the Holy Avenger for my paladin. Has anyone else noticed this happening in their journals on any quests especially this one???

Kel, have you tried approaching the dragon yet? I'm curious if the quest is messed up, or if just the quest log is messed up. Maybe when you kill the dragon, the avenger will still show up like it's supposed to.

Hi SWC,
I am going to try to finish the quest as is and see what happens. I have plenty of save files so I can go back and try each one until that journal entry does not show if it doesn't work. I too am not sure if the quest is messed up or if it is a small journal bug. I want to try and find out if the quest is messed up and if the sequence I did some other quests might have caused it.
Just playing around.

Holy Avenger, bugged journal and a new(?) Ore location.
swcarter wrote:Kel, have you tried approaching the dragon yet? I'm curious if the quest is messed up, or if just the quest log is messed up. Maybe when you kill the dragon, the avenger will still show up like it's supposed to.
SWC
Hi SWC, I finished the Ironfist and Ivarrs's Vision Quest.
I continued on with my last save where I had the journal entry that I had already slayed Tholapsvx. I
went on to kill the Fire Giants and then Tholapsvx. I noted my journal was updated after having slain
the dragon even though I had yet to check his hoard. The Avenger was there and so was alot of other
good loot. I returned to CK and spoke with Ivarr to finish the quest.
I would say it is a minor bug that does not affect the quests and is not affected by the sequence that
you do the quests. The sequence if there is a preferred order that they be done could very easily have
caused the flawed journal entry. It's nice to know that this bug can be ignored.
I also found a third Ore Location on the Ironfist Alliance quest and it is located in the back of Tholapsvx's
area called Fiery Canyon on Mount Galardrym and I have a jpg of it's location if one hasn't been posted.
I returned to Crossroads Keep to discover that Greycloaks had been sent to recover the hoard and that
they had recovered about 200,000 in gold for the keep. See attachment.
