Is there a handy-dandy table XP vs character level available somewhere on line? Thank you!

I'm not sure if there is. I don't think that is part of the open game content for DnD, and it may be illegal to put up online to be honest, even if it were for the IWD 2 game. Sharing it could be an illegal activity.

you're joking, right?
that's common knowledge.
you have those tables in manuals, but:
deleted because of the legal problems
now, if you have race with level adjustment, when you begin, you'll have:
2000XP for LA1 (aasimar, tiefling)
5000XP for LA2 (drow)
9000XP for LA3 (deep gnome)
and then just look up on the table for XP needed to gain next level.

No, I'm not joking. You PAY for the manual. It is yours, you own it. That is like saying "Oh, I bought the cd, so I can share it with everyone I know!". I wouldn't post that online to be honest. That isn't on the DnD SRD, and that means WoTC says that is illegal to share. You should really remove that.

I don't want to get anyone in trouble. If it's illegal, it's illegal. Thank you for posting it though. I liked how BG had a handy searchable PDF file. I don't even know if I still have the manual for IWD2. It's been some time.... If it's any consolation I do own the D&D manuals, just didn't know how exactly the game corresponds to it.

*nods* In that case, the game follows the XP charts on page 22 of the DnD PHB. I just don't want Buck getting sued and shut down for having illegally shared content on the site.

A quick note: if you don't have a particular Weimer EoU mod component installed, the Deep Gnome will NOT start with 9000XP, but 5000.

@Jelaweb: yup, you're right, miscalculated that one.
@Magrus: OK, I removed it.
but, when I say it's common knowledge, I mean you can get that piece of information with the Gather information; DC being 5 (I'm sure WizardsOTCoast would appreciate the pun)
it's basic math.
you start with 0XP
to get to 2nd level you need to gain 1000XP
to get to 3rd, you need to get additional 2000XP
now, try to guess how much additional XP you need, to gain 4th level (it's 3000)
also, if you say that reveling information from PHB is illegal, that means that every site on which there is/was a discussion on usefulness of a prestige class/feats/or whatever should be closed down, because they have revealed supersecret info that "Weapon specialization" adds +2 to damage to a selected weapon.
it would be illegal to hold a copy of PHB for everyone to download from your server, but I'm pretty sure that it not illegal to share information that's located in it (it might sound stupid, but the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; Article 19 states:
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.)
so, there. unless USA became communist country over the night, you have nothing to fear.

@RTP,
That doesn't apply to copyrighted material. Read the open game license from the WotC website. It is one thing to discuss the content. Fully another to copy and paste large chunks of the content. Posting a chart that has yet to ever show up on the websites who made up contracts with the company owning that content to hold some of their material for free online isn't a good idea. It isn't a matter of whether it's stupid or not, it's law. A company owns the material, and a seperate company which made this game paid to use it in their game. Which transfers rights to see and use it for personal use to those who pay for the game. Just because it happens to be in a video game and printed in the manual does not mean it is open game content and public to everyone.
However, this is derailing the topic, so I'm done.
