Yourname Crystal + Lightsaber

Can <Yourname> Crystal be maxed out if you are at a low level (with LS/DS bonus) or do you have to be at a very high level?

With <Yourname> Crystal, is it possible to put in a crystal of the opposite alignment and still use the lightsaber (i.e. inserting a Quioxi Crystal into a lightsaber with a light side <Yourname> crystal in it or inserting a Solari Crystal into a lightsaber with a dark side <Yourname> crystal in it>)?

Sorry about the confusion (I accidentally made 2 threads with the same name).

You can max out the allignment of your crystal at low levels, but it also levels in power with you, meaning that the stronger you get, the stronger your crystal gets, so the answer there is more or less a no.

As for the second, I think that the question sorta answers itself. If putting a darkside crystal in your saber makes it restricted to darksiders, and then putting in a lightside crystal, which makes it restricted to lightsiders, wouldn't that mean that nobody could use it? I've never tried it personally, but I would assume that it either never lets you wield it, or it'll only let you wield it if you're neutral. That's the real problem with this series, is that it always makes you choose one side or the other.

I don't think your crystal is tied to a side. It gives you bonues based on where you are. Say you are neutral & Kreia 'aligned' your crystal. Now you take a swing to the dark side. When you show her your crystal again, she says it does not reflect who you are & it needs aligning again. So no, it does not matter about your crystal, only restricted ones that are either light or dark.

The only thing I have done is be dark & use a dark crystal. Then took a light swing & could not use my saber because of the dark crystal. Remove the dark crystal & I could use it again.

Clear as mud?
