Is it possible for me to run the game?

I am thinking of getting this game but the problem is the requirements.
My computer is (copied of DxDiag):
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.7GHz
768MB RAM
ATI RADEON 9550 AGP 256MB
80GB HD
Is it possible for me to play the game on minimum setting or something?
Or is overclocking a possibility (although someone would have to describe this to me as I have no clue on the subject).

Hm, maybe. I have about double the CPU you have, and just a slightly better GPU. On my computer it runs from average to poor on normal graphic settings, I never tried the lowest settings though. Memory is going to be an issue, you'll need at least one gig.
In my opinion the game isn't worth an upgrade, but opinions are probably the worst kind of advice.

Possibly, there is a thread buried probably a few pages back that has the minimum system requirements in this forum. If you do a search for "system requirements" you would find it. My computer runs it very well, but I have a better system. My only worries would be your CPU, everything else should be fine.

I have a very similar system: Athlon XP2000, 1.5gig ram and Radeon 9600XT. The game runs good at 1024x768 with low to medium graphics settings. I ran it with 512 meg ram when I first got the game and the load times between areas were very long - the extra RAM has helped a lot.
The recent game patches have also helped with some lower end systems - so I think you will be okay. That being said a new video card should be your first consideration.
