Yes, but I played it on PS2 to be honest. It was made in 1999, so was probably made for systems with windows 98 or ME when it got converted to PC. Given that, chances are you wouldn't have much problem running it at all on XP. However, XP comes with an option that allows you to run programs in a compatibility mode for older version of Windows.
If you right click on the icon you would normally click on to run the game, scroll down to "Properties" and then click on the "Compatibility" tab you will see an option that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" with a box to the left which you click. As well as a selection of Windows versions from Windows 95 through 2000. One of those options should do the trick for you.

By the way, are you referring to Drakan or Drakken?

Because I can't find a game by that name and the closest match is Drakan.

Yeah, I searched for quite some time myself. I played Drakan. I am assuming that would be the game in question.

Wow, a serious 'name from the past', I remember trying to play this game on my old Amiga, and it came out way before even Win 95, probably developed for the Atari ST or Amiga. A noble attempt to be well ahead of its time, but I could never get anywhere with it. I did respect what the guys were trying to achieve though, it was definitely a taste of things to come in many ways. I hadn't realised that someone attempted to port it to the PC, I wouldn't mind having a look at it for old times sake.

1989, and it was an Atari ST game originally (though I reviewed it at the time in a PC port). Intereesting realtime RPG, a neat mix of linear plotting and open-ended gameplay. Very unusual monsters, too, as I recall.
I think Home of the Underdogs used to have the PC version available since the game's abandonware, but I haven't seen it up there, recently.
