I keep reading that you can give various items to your followers to improve their mood.

However, I played a whole game and never ever did any follower ask for anything. I also tried to give them stuff (snuff, perfume, etc...according to the infos I had read, but it didn't change their mood (generally a bad mood) in any way. So, was there a bug in this particular game or is there something I missed?


How are they supposed to ask for this stuff (I just read in another thread they do). Is it a dialog option (I didn't see any)? A floating line? What?

Did you put the items in your quick bar and try administering them directly, like a potion? Don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a try.

In any case, what I saw was that you had a chance to give them something if and only if they left you because of upset with your alignment or anything else.

Post removed. The person who started this thread already knows how to mollify followers. He doesn't need to be told, again. He's saying that it isn't working.
