can anyone tell me if there is any advantage in playing a good or evel character.beside the influance of the npc

oh yeah, cuz some items (like Lorne´s 2hnd sw etc) - can be used only by evil chars ... maybe high using m. device skill can help u with this too - like my Neeshka can use gloves, which are usable ONLY by monks or some wands, usable ONLY by wizzs and another casters....

another thing is, using evil char and good npc in party - your alignment will be shifting or your commrades will hating u or another in group

(+i was shocked, when i wanted change crew - take Elee teh druid and kick Neeshka for a while - but she didnt follow me outside inn, so i came back and talked to her - she said that there are enemies and send her animal companion to attack Neeshka, k i sended Kelghar to help her, 1 hit and Neeshka was down, i went out and then back and i could take Neeshka back to party alive, really weird:speech: )

p.s. but what really sux, its fact, that my alignment shifted from neutral to good (cuz i coulndt count it) and i cant go back to neutral, only change to evil is possible now, sooo i will be uber evil soon, yep, this is a way

I'm not sure if I'd call them advantages, rather differences. One notable "advantage" would be that as an evil-aligned character, you actually have the choice to ally with the King of Shadows at the end. Aside from that, it's a matter of preference. Over on the Bioware boards, some folks said that the evil-aligned campaign is further developed than the good-aligned, but I've played both now and can't see *that* many differences, aside from the obvious ones. You'll still become a Squire, and a Captain, and eventually the Knight Captain of Crossroad Keep.

The biggest advantage, to me, was that my evil-aligned char could speak their mind more freely when playing the evil route. I'd met some characters on my first play-through as a CG Warlock that I really, really wanted to smack into next century... and well, the evil path, as inevitably flawed as it is, does give you the chance to tell Neverwinter ( the city ) in general what you think of them. Namely, through your actions.
