I've noticed that in my journal after a few side quests that I have Imperial quests listed

although I've never joined the Legion, and in the listing I'm shown as belonging to the Blades, House Hiaalu, and the Morag Tong...
although its not causing any problems, I've just wondering if anybody else has had entries show up in their journal?

What mods are you running? Or have you made changes via the console?

no changes from console,
vibrant morrowind
a few clothing mods, better bodies, better faces
better books and book rotate
and the mods from elderscrolls
nothing that I think would cause these entries....
no problems with game, but being the compulsive type  it bothers me to have these entries....believed if I completed one it would be listed as completed but no, maybe I've just haven't reported it to the right NPC...
Oh well I can live with it.
thanks for the reply.

Sometimes you end up stumbling across quests that are actually related to factions you are not a part of and they end up in your journal under "Redoran," "Imperial Legion" etc.
This tends to happen most often when you rescue NPCs in Daedric ruins and the like.

Now that you've pointed it out, these did appear after a rescue, maybe my
Bosmer needs to be more callous and leave a few stranded....
but no this character, has been pulled into freeing slaves and doing much nicer things than my previous character the Khajiit thief.:mischief:

It's just the way they wrote the dialog. Ends were left open allowing players to stumble into quests for factions they are not in. With Some on the other hand, this was meant to happen. Such as a certain Hlaau quest in Balmora where you have to investigate a murder.
