Tweak confusion

I know there are a lot of posts about patches and mods here, but I think the reason I'm confused is because there are so many, and some of them probably out of date.

When it comes to installing the game and various patches, what is the difference between the G3 Tweaks and the Ease-of-Use mod? I thought one pretty much included the other but when I searched through the forums for people's installation lists, I found several that included installing both.

The G3 Tweaks contains the Ease of Use mod along with many other things so you only need to install the G3 Tweaks.

If you read the documentation for the major fixpacks and tweaks they will state if they supercede other mods.

My own installation list is out of date, so you should take that into account if you've read any of my previous messages.

I used to install the Ease-of-Use Mod and the G3 Tweak Pack because they did not contain the same content. However, the G3 Tweak Pack has been replaced by a more comprehensive mod from G3 which they call the BG2 Tweak Pack. As you can see, the names are slightly different. The new BG2 Tweak Pack contains all of the components found in the Ease-of-Use Mod (unlike the previous G3 Tweak Pack), so it is no longer necessary to install Ease-of-Use if you install the BG2 Tweak Pack.
